EVENT DETAILS
Before the race, get warmed up by joining in some pre-race fun. DJ PDogg will be leading all participants in the Cha-Cha Slide and the Cupid Shuffle starting at 8:45 AM.
Then you’ll tackle the 5k Run and Walk beginning at Boxyard RTP. The mostly flat, out and back course is great for all abilities and will give you the chance to see and cheer on team members during the race.
After you cross the finish line, it’s time for the best team meeting of the year, the Post-Race party!
- Featuring music, an awards ceremony, beer sampling (must be 21+), kids zone, raffles and more, the post-race party will keep the fun flowing, and be the a perfect place to celebrate, bond and swap stories with your teammates.
- Kids want to get in the fun, too? The post-race party will feature an inflatable obstacle course for kids to enjoy!
- Love a little friendly competition? Check out the scoring system which will be used on race day to award the top teams.
About the Boxyard RTP:
- Boxyard RTP in the heart of the RTP that houses dining and shopping vendors and has a great space for outdoor gatherings. It’s an ideal location for the post-race party!
EVENT SCHEDULE
The 9 to 5k Challenge takes place right in the heart of the RTP, with a start and finish line in the parking lot of Boxyard RTP!
Recommended Arrival Time
Runners should arrive between 7:30 - 8 AM to leave ample time to find a parking spot, take the shuttle to the start line and take care of any pre-race needs.

Please use this address to get to the parking area and then following parking signs to get to the Fidelity parking area.
Shuttle Service Begins
All participants will need to take a shuttle from the Fidelity parking lot to the Start Line at Boxyard. Shuttles will run continuously every 10-15 minutes.
Packet Pick-up Begins
Team Captains can pick up their team's packet at Customer Service. Freelancers can pick up their race bib and shirt at Customer Service.

Warm up your muscles with a pre-race dance party next to the start line!

Race Begins
Overall Awards Announced on the Main Stage
Age Group award winners can pick up their awards after the race. The award location will be shared closer to race day!
Raffle Winners Announced
Raffle winners will be announced by DJ PDogg. Winners will pick up their item at the raffle table.

Shuttle Service Ends
All participants will need to take the shuttle from Boxyard back to the parking area after the race. The final shuttle will leave Boxyard at 11:45 AM.
Race day timeline is subject to change. Participants will be notified of any changes via email.
